Augusta Industrial Coatings, Inc. was recognized with several Awards of Safety Excellence presented by The Associated General Contractors of America during their 75th annual convention held in Savannah on May 17th. The company was presented with the "First place Certificate of Commendation for 50,000-100,000 safe work hours in 2002, and a Certificate of Commendation for No Lost Time Accidents in 2002". AIC has maintained this outstanding accident-free safety record since it first began in 1994 and was the recipient of a past award for its dedication and commitment to loss control and safety awareness. Members of the Associated General Contractors of America from all over the state of Georgia participated in the ceremony.
